Privacy policy

We built Conductor to bridge the gap between financial planning and doing.

Last updated: 19 May 2024

Plain English summary of this Privacy Policy

This section covers the most important questions about your data privacy with Conductor. Legal wording needs to cover many specific things which can make it hard to get an overview, so this section isn’t legally binding. The remaining sections below are the legal terms that apply.

Remind me what personal information is going into Conductor?
To use Conductor, you (or your advisor on your behalf) put in your contact and personal info, including things like how much you earn, and plans you have, like buying a house. If you’re planning with others (like buying a house with someone else), you may also enter their info, or they may enter your info.

You may also provide snapshots of your bank accounts via Akahu or manually by sending them to us (like to help you apply for a home loan), which gives Conductor information about your financial position and transactions.

How do you store my data?
The personal information you enter in Conductor is really personal, and it’s really important we keep it safe. That’s why we securely store your data. We continuously implement and update security measures to help protect your information. Like most other services though, we can’t guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of your information.

Conductor does not sell or rent your data for research or marketing purposes.
